My name is Janet King
I am a qualified sex and relationship therapist providing couple’s therapy, individual therapy and sex therapy to people across Highcliffe, Christchurch, Ringwood, Bournemouth and Poole.
As a therapist, supervisor and trainer with over 20 years of experience, I have been privileged to work with courageous people from all walks of life, cultures and backgrounds. From adults, to children, young people and couples. I am sex positive, which means I respect and welcome individuals of all sexual orientations and practices – including those from LGBGTQ+, kink and polygamous communities.
With the help of therapy they have been able to explore what’s troubling them and discover where their beliefs come from. This has enabled them to gain more control and a better understanding of themselves and ultimately change repeating patterns of the past.
I offer an environment that is supportive, warm, confidential and free from judgement. I create a space in which you will be able to explore areas of your life that you may wish to understand, improve on or make changes to.
Whether the difficulties are current or unresolved from the past, we will work together at your pace to improve your life. I work in an integrative way, which means I draw on a number of theories to help you make sense of things.
